How do I print my Game Sheet Labels?

As a Team Statistician, please go to Compete->Score Game

Click on the "game label" as noted in the screen shot below.

This will open up a new window in your browser and you can then select who you would like to include in the game sheet label, and then click PRINT LABEL button found on the top and bottom of the page.

Q: What Avery Label do I use?

A: The Game Sheet Labels are designed for any Avery or Generic brand 8.5"x11" one sheet label.

Individual labels can be cut out for each game.

How do I enter jersey numbers '0' and '00' on my roster?

Please use number 100 for '0' and number 200 for '00'

Currently the number 0 and 00 are not accepted by the system.

How do I add a pick up player/guest player within my club?

Pickup players can be added to the roster so that their goals and assists can be assigned

Click “Compete” then “Score Game” Select correct game from game list

Click “Update Home Players” Click “Search Guest Player” to fill in Pick up players if needed

Enter the player's first and/or last name and click the Search button.

Once you have located them, click Select.

Their Jersey Number can be entered beside their name and should not be same number as any other Game Jerseys.

Click Save.

Note: If Visiting team has Pickup players, that team's statistician must first input his/her roster with P/U player.

NOTE - The pick-up players must already be assigned to the category before they can be added to the team. This way they'll show up in the search.

How do I get my labels?

Please go to Compete—Score Game and beside any of your games that have been entered, there will be a link for Game Sheet.

Click on this link to determine the bench staff that need to appear (or leave it as is for the default) and then click Print Label to display the labels.

My bench staff certification is not displaying on the game label

The following display... etc. if certification # is missing you need to contact your  club association registrar to have it added in.

Can a player be assigned to more than one jersey number?

If a player is on a House Team as well as a DS Team, and their jersey number is different for both, the system does not allow you to add two jersey numbers - one for each team.

It will only allow you to assign one jersey number per player to be stored under that player's profile.

However, when the Team Statisician is entering the game sheet, there is an area to enter the jersey number when it's different from the default jersey number.

You will need to update this number each game that the jersey number is different.

The default jersey number should be the one where the player plays the most.

Why can I not add a Guest Player from outside my association/club?

A Team Statistician cannot add anyone as a Guest outside of their own association.

They must complete a Pick up Form that must be submitted & approved by the OWHA or the leagues.

Once approved, they handwrite their names on the gamesheet.

How do I edit a Jersey Number

Next time you go to score a game and select all of your players and update their jerseys DO NOT hit SAVE AND RETURN, rather just select SAVE.

This will give you the additional option of UPDATING DEFAULT JERSEYS.

The format of my game label is weird

We used to recommend a 3x2 (6 per page) avery label, but only about 75% of the Team Statisticians were able to use that label successfully. We spent hours and hours fiddling with settings to try to have the labels fit for everyone. In the end we decided that the permutations and combinations of PCs, versions of operating systems/Adobe Reader/Printers and Printer drivers 'out there' (which may or may not be installed correctly) were such that we could never please everyone.

So we now recommend the full sheet label and some scissors (sounds simple, but it does work). If you like, you can print out your label on a piece of paper and hold it up to a 3x2 label sheet that you may find at a store, at home or at work. No two printers will print the text on the labels in exactly the same position, so that might be your best bet.

How do I correct a certificate number for a coach or trainer?

Please reach out to your Club Association Registrar and ask them to update this information.

Provide to them the member first and last name, and the correct certificate information.

How do I add a second coach to the team roster?

The only way you can add a second coach to your team roster label - is to choose it under the Manager listing as per the screenshot attached.  All coaches will show up in this area to choose from.

Choose the first coach under the Team Contact 1 option.

Choose the second coach from under the Team Contact 5 option.

The roster numbers for my team are not automatically populating

Please reach out to your Club Association Registrar - as they can add the Player Numbers on the master listing for your Team Roster.

Throughout the season, you can update/modify your players numbers on a game by game basis with your access.

Just go to Compete - Score Game

and within the game details, you can update the numbers

do not forgot to click save to populate the updates.

How do I get a pick up player listed on the game sheet?

After adding the player are you supposed to be able to print the game label with that player on it? After adding a player they don't appear on the game label that I want to print.

What do I do?

The team statistician will need to reach out to the Association Registrar to make this request.

The association registrar can go to Compete-->Division Games to pull up the game sheet for this game that will contain the pick-up player.

I can not get access to my game label?

At the beginning of the season, if you do not have any games scheduled, as a Team Statistician, you will have to ask your Club Association Registrar to print out / email you the PDF file if you need a game label for your team.

Once you have games scheduled under Compete - Score Game - you will then be able to find your label there.

Please note - your team must already be approved by the OWHA before this link is available to the Club Association Registrar.
