Brazilian Futebol School Festival A Success!

Brazilian Futebol School, Ontario, with a home base in Guelph, hosted its partner school Bermuda Brazilian Football School on Saturday 4th, and Sunday 5th July at the University of Guelph Soccer Complex
An affiliate group from the Turks and Caicos, as well as teams from Cambridge Youth Soccer(CYS) Fergus Elora District Soccer(FEDS), Guelph Youth Soccer, participated in this event

Councillor Karl Wettstein from the City Of Guelph opened the event, and the Canadian anthem was performed by Brazilian Futebol School Youth squad player Maki Burgess, playing the cello

The event, billed as a Festival Of Friends and Football, was designed to accommodate soccer players aged 9-16, while celebrating the 6th Anniversary of Brazilian Futebol School in Guelph.
The theme of the event was to meet players from a different country or club, share cultural experiences while playing the game of football.
It was also a good opportunity for the coaches of all groups and teams, to interact, and share coaching ideas

Players were put through their paces by the Coaching staff of Brazilian Futebol School, assisted by all participating coaches. Players then continued to play small sided games, and it was really good to see the amount of talent on display.

Brazilian Futebol School has been providing technical based training to soccer players in the area for 6 years. Players attending the school come from Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Fergus,Rockwood, and even Woodstock.
